A Message From Our Chairman

Hi there, I'm Mr. Seymour, Chairman of the Couch and Manager of the Snacks. I'm just here to report on my mom's progress this week. She's currently busy working on some logo design work, which she does on the side from her regular day job, whatever that is. As far as I can tell, she mostly cooks and knits and looks after me.

The week started off well. She did a good job of spraying and cleaning her yoga mat, which I promptly inspected for her. It smelled pretty clean, but I rolled around on it for a while just to be sure, since that's what she seems to use it for. I deemed it acceptable before I allowed her to get on.

She also did a bunch of baking this week, including a batch of cottage cheese and blueberry muffins. I do some quality control on these from time to time, just to make sure they're suitable for her to take for her breakfast. They're mostly pretty good, but I think they would be better with a bit of bacon flavour:

She did spend some time on this sweater this week. I think she must be nearly finished working on it because she keeps stopping to try it on. She walks around the house with the ball of yarn trailing after her, so I have to get up off the couch to chase after it to make sure it doesn't get lost. I tell you, if it wasn't for me, she'd never get any of this knitting stuff done:

She's been pretty busy, but she still had time to take me to my meeting at the dog park yesterday. I had a good talk with a couple of shepherds and a retriever, but I think I really need to do something with that little terrier mix. I'm just not sure he's the right fit for the organization, but I'll have to spend some more time evaluating that situation.

Speaking of, I'm off for a nap. It's hard work being in charge. Mom says to have a good week!
